Friya is a newly formed company incorporated in Queensland, Australia in 2009. It is collectively formed with students from University of Queensland and Queensland university of technology under the supervision of YAA. As a legal entity, Friya will exist and operate until voluntary liquidation on 30^th September 2009, upon which all profits earned will be distributed to the respective shareholders of the company.

Friya will sell printed silicone wristbands with a range of different colours and will have a slogan printed on it. The manufacturing of this product is outsourced by the supplier in Sydney. ‘Friya Wrist Bands’ are primarily aimed towards University students. The sales revenue generated from the ‘Friya Wrist Band’ sales will be donated to chosen charitable organisation.

Friya has sustainable competitive edge to assist them in the market penetration. The main edge is wide range of Wrist bands. By establishing a strategic relationship with companies that already have existing equipment, Friya will be able to offer wide range of options. From previous work experience, Crystal has established close business with in Sydney and will be using their technology that offers an unprecedented high quality wrist bands.

Friya will be led by Pranay Chukkala and will be leading the company and will be responsible for the overall strategic decisions. Yen Ling Teng will be leading company secretary team. Finance department is lead by Shunhua Deng, He will be responsible for the main budgeting and the companies finance activities. Individual sales and marketing departments are merged to be more effective, Keith Chew will be leading the sales and marketing department. He will be responsible for the key sales and marketing strategies. Pey Chin Wong will be the Manufacturing Director mainly responsible for maintaining manufacture relations and all the manufacturing process and stocks. As a Human Resource Director, Hiang Qian Lau will have to manage and motivate all the members in the company to use their talent and energy. Wenshuang Zhang, as an Environmental Director will have to ensure minimum impact to environment through everyday business practices and production process .
