Crystal (Director)

Hello everyone! I am Crystal from Malaysia, currently taking Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) in University of Queensland. I am the Director of Manufacturing team in FRIYA. My main responsibilities are to liaise and negotiate with suppliers and coordinate the flow of production work so it meets company requirements and deadlines. The Business Skills Program under YAA is a really wonderful educational program that offer us a practical introduction to business and the real working world. Being part of FRIYA, which is a company created under the Business Skills Program by YAA, I learned how to work and deal with people from different nations, cultures and ways of thinking. I also learned to stand out and speak or present in front of crowd. Those experiences will really help me in the future. Undeniably there are also some tough parts in the process, but, joining FRIYA did make my final year in UQ more interesting and meaningful!
